Consider this sorry blurb on a typical consulting site:
Really? Do people talk like that? Hell no. Yet people and businesses write like this all across the web. Most sounding the same, yet stating very little.
And, businesses write too much about what they do. But no one cares. People only care what they can get from what you do. Because it's about them, not you, silly. So then, write from the reader's perspective to connect with your audience. Otherwise, they'll stay in limbo… far, far away from ‘yes’.
If people don't understand you immediately, they'll leave without knowing how you can help them. If you sound like everyone else, you'll blend in versus stand out. If you don't explain how to solve their problem, they'll find someone else who can.
Less people will read your stuff
Less readers will do what you ask
Less money will flow into your business
