People only care what they get—from what you (and I) do. But, most businesses write from their perspective. Like… What we do. Who we are. How big we are. Our product’s features. Our mission. Our values. 'We,' 'we,' 'we.' 'Ours,' 'ours,' 'ours.' Blah, blah, blah.

Do this test...

Count how many times ‘we’ & ‘ours’ appear on your web pages. Probably a lot more than ‘you’ & ‘yours’.

Shame on us for making our readers endure ‘how great we are.’

Why force readers to translate what you do -to- what they get? This requires effort and precious brain-calories.

And position you as their guide—like Yoda.
